// PROBE ORIENTATION
Probe Orientation
Every POCUS probe has a small physical marker — a notch, ridge, or dot. The ultrasound screen has a matching indicator. They are always on the same side. If your probe marker points at the patient's right shoulder, anatomy toward that shoulder ends up on the indicator side of the screen.
Move and rotate the probe below to see the relationship in action.

// RULE 1 — THE MODE SETS THE CORNER
The screen indicator lives in one corner — top-left or top-right — and that corner is decided by the machine's marker-side setting. Toggle it above and watch the indicator jump. Rotating the probe doesn't move it.
// RULE 2 — MARKER SIDE = INDICATOR SIDE
Whatever's under the marker side of the probe shows up on the indicator side of the screen. Rotate the probe and watch the cone's cross-section flip in lockstep.
